• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

So here I'am at with my 2009 GS with 30,000 miles
Looks like my shocks are done,
Elka shocks are very expensive, both front and back,
what is the next best solution for new shocks besides Elkas.

Some...

there are Fox and progressive which are cheaper than the elkas and race techs. There are the stock and many slightly used on ebay then cheapcycleparts.com for cheaper oem shocks. I run Fox with relocators in front and stock rear on my RS and works great...

If you can find a set of shocks from a 2011, or 2012 RT...
They'll fit, and stiffen up the front end a bit for you.

True. And the 2012 RT shocks will also work well. I like the Progressive shocks. Bang for the buck I think is the best of the bunch. Used to be able to get a set for $425. Not sure if that still holds.
