• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shocks?

I have a 2014 RT-S SE6 with standard shocks. My question is: are the standard shocks better or equal to the fox shocks on LTD? Have Bahja Ron bar and will install this week and would like to know if I need fox shocks. Thanks

The standard shocks are pretty crappy. Also the spyder fox shocks are not the highest quality as some of the other fox shocks out there for 4 wheelers or snowmobiles, etc. They are made to be less expensive and of course that means the quality of the components are not the best.

I have Elka shocks on my 2014 RTS and absolutely is one of the best investments. The spyder is a totally different machine and especially when paired with the bajaron sway bar.

i was told that the stock shocks are :cus:, i will not say who told me but a lot of people know him/her so i ordered the elkas for my 14 rt and i know when i installed them on my 13 they made a very big difference

Here's what you do..!!

have the BajaRon bar installed and then go out and ryde.. See how that feels to you and if you feel you need more then look into the other shocks. There are others besides elkas and fox...

:agree: That's exactly what I did. Drove it for 2000 miles stock, put the BajaRon bar and aluminium links on, then drove it for another 5000 miles before deciding to do the shocks. During that period I also found that switching to a 4 ply rear tire helped the handling as well.
