• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shocks

Had my new RaceTech shocks installed yesterday. Sweeeeet! Best yet, they are MADE in Corona, CA. Took 2 weeks for them to be complete...made to order as per rider/passenger weights, riding style, etc. Cost...you get what you pay for. The decision to get them may have saved my life, or at least prevented me from getting into an accident. The nut on the top bolt of the left shock had just a few threads left before it fell off, which would have resulted in nothing good if running 75 mph when the bolt would have fallen off.

Wonder how many other riders have loose nuts on their shock bolts? Another item for me to check.

More info on the shocks please. Went to their site and found nothing listed for Can Am -except CALL for information.

Thanks

Good thing you changed out your shocks. Do you have any pics of the new shocks?

Thought about the "before" pics after I got home last night...was a looooong day. Rode 160 miles one-way to have them installed and some light tune done...iridium plugs, K&N filter, "bolt on frame causing vibrations" fix, etc. Completely forgot the camera at home. I could have taken some great pics for the work done. I will take some pics of the shocks on the Spyder later today. The man you see in the pic (on the RaceTech site) with the custom Spyder paint job is my Spyder tech who ordered the shocks and installed them.
The shocks look like the ones pictured on the site except they have been redesigned without the canister to better accommodate the RT.

Looks good  Lots of adjustment to be had there. I don't think I have ever seen the outside casing threaded all the way from top to bottom .
