• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shocks vs. Swaybar...

Shop around for the newer model shocks, lots of folks went to Elkas and just have their OEMs laying around gathering dust (like me).

I've got a set of 2011 RT shocks here if anybody's in the mood.

Maybe we should start a thread about old RT shocks that need a new Spyder wrapped around them?? :dontknow:

They are the opposite of OEM...shaft up/reservoir down.

Careful here. Elka's are opposite of OEM -- that's the easiest way to describe it. But with the Elka's, the hardened steel shaft is down, the large threaded shock case is up. Just look at the originals and do the opposite -- you can't go wrong.

Thanks...corrected.

I put the FOX shocks and the Baha Ron sway bar on my 2010 RT and also thought "That's the way they should have done it the first time". The amazing difference was worth several times what it cost. :2thumbs:
