• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shocks for big boys!

I have a 2016 F3T! I am 6'5 and 300lbs! My wife is about 165lbs! What would be a good rear shock? Thanks in advance for your help!

bob is right, you call elka and tell them you weight and they will set the shock up for you, i did it for the fronts on mine

I'm 6'7" and 310, and my wife is about 130, on our F3-T, I-Day.

I bought Wilbers front and rears, but mainly because there is a great Wilbers dealer out here in Oz. As everyone else has said, Elka would be your best bet in the US.

You notice a big difference in the front end when cornering, but not a huge difference in the rear, as the stock F3-T shock is fairly good and rarely bottomed out. It does also seem to maintain grip a bit better when cornering on rough roads (that's gut feel, not measured;)).

HOWEVER, as you and I are running over the max weight allowance two up, it just provides a little extra confidence, along with a little more capacity, meaning it doesn't bottom out at all. I am still fiddling with the rear shock settings to find the best combinations.

For me, money well spent.

Pete,
I think that the load capacity for the 1330 RTs is just under 500 pounds (494); what is it for the F3 touring models?
