• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shock Setting

My front shocks are at full preload and my rear is one click away from max. I have an Evo sway bar and it helps tremendously, but these stock shocks pretty much suck. They provide a pretty decent ride but hard cornering with these have forced me to get pretty innovative in terms of tecnique!

I will replace them eventually, but the cost to do so is more than I can handle right now.

My shocks are at the stiffest setting and I'm pushing 30,000 miles on the stock front tires without rotating them.

Front tire wear is not going to be affected by shock settings. On the Spyder it is purely a Toe setting that affects wear. Many are set to Toe-Out and they wear quickly on the inside edges. I have mine set to slight toe-in and it handles better and only half worn at 18K miles. I have been through 3 rears in the same time period.

I have to agree with you SLayer. Toe and camber will dictate front tire wear. The rears will go much quicker than fronts. So far my fronts look just like new with 3900 miles on since 29 July. My Wife's RS-S has almost 5000 on and same deal. Tires look like new.

I have all of mine at the stiffest setting for now, but will be going for the EVO sway bar and better shocks next year. that I hit the "mother-lode".

IMO if i had to choose which to buy first it would be the evo swaybar
i have 7000 miles no tire rotation and no wear on mine at all front tires are at 20 psi and the back is at 30 psi but i plan on dropping psi 18/28 or 16/26 my bike is a true rs 2010 don't know if they made changes as far as castor or camber. my shock settings are all right in the middle
