• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Are you talking about specific spring rates, or overall design dissimilarities?
The RTs come with an air shock that is either manually adjustable (Base and A&C models) or adjustable with an on-board compressor. (RTS and Limiteds).
I know that the load capacity difference between the 2 models is pretty significant, so that might point to a higher spring rate...but I don't know what that is! :opps:
 
I did test ryde the 2012 RS-S with all 3 Fox shoks and like them alot, they are really stiff...:thumbup:
 
The reason you have received no response is that BRP has published no figures, and shock damping rates aren't generally quantifiable anyway. If you are talking about the front shock assemblies, the RT spring is a bit stiffer, and the damping is increased over the RS. The 2011/2012 RT shock damping is increased even more...with the same, additional spring rate. The 2010/2012 shocks also have an improved adjuster over earlier models. In the rear, the RT shock has a much weaker spring rate than the RS, because the RT supplements the spring with the air bag. I can't speak to the comparative damping characteristics. I do not believe the RT rear shock is adjustable, either.
