• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

shock adjustment suspension

Hi there...

On my RS ....

Front shocks have a adjustment ring that you turn to adjust between 1-5 ( I use a big pair of channel locks )... 5 is stiffest..

For the rear shocks, there is a adjustment hole that accepts the end of a socket extension....use a rachet to adjust it as well. Again the settings are 1-5... 5 is stiffest.

Please check manual for any safety concerns before performing...

Let us know if you have any issues... we can help...

:yikes: Yikes! There is a tool for this purpose in your tool kit. I highly recommend using it. The pre-2010 adjuster rings are fragile enough without damaging them with channel locks. The later rings can have the plating damaged, and will then rust badly, even to the point of failure. It pays to use the right tool for the job. When adjusting the rings, it is best to jack up the Spyder, and to spray the adjusters liberally with WD-40.

Well, in my defense ( sorry guys ;) )... I grip it very gentle...had a lot of blood from said tool slippage with Spyder jacked up...But your correct...Right tool for correct job... :2thumbs:
