There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Shipping Services for Pull-behind Trailer - Reliable Shipping Company Names??

Thinking of purchasing a pull-behind camping trailer from a private party but it is several states away... would need to have it shipped.
Am asking for information as to which reliable shipping company to contact... and which ones to definitely stay away from.
Many thanks.

Check out Haul Bikes. They moved my Spyder from CT to TX in 2021 for about $800.00 with no headaches. Don't know if they would move a trailer, but I don't see why they wouldn't. Should be cheaper too.

Hey Carla,

When I sold my RT622 about 3 years ago it was shipped across country to Virgina using Haul Bikes. Cost, I believe, was $600. They were very professional and took pictures of EVERYTHING at the time of taking possession. The only downside is that they do take some time (2-3 weeks) to complete the process. Good luck..... Jim

Carla - I also used HaulBikes to get my F3-S Daytona from Michigan to south Texas. Does take a little time ... but was very happy with them.

You didn't mention the brand trailer but since all of them ship their new products you might call and ask who they use.

Many thanks to all who responded.
The company that made the camping trailer is now out of business.. so no support for parts and accessories.
I have decided to let the private party sell it to someone else.

Even with well known companies, if they use independent people, it is all about the luck of the draw.

When we moved from AK to AR, we used a local mover with a good reputation. They also shipped our three bikes in the same truck. The load was shipped to an "intermediate" company in Montana. It sat in their lot for over a month. The load did not arrive in AR until mid July. It was picked up in mid May. The "intermediate" mover arrived with no helpers. We had to find a couple of local moving guys to help unload the truck. They did all the work, while the driver watched and smoked cigarettes. One of our Spyders was damaged. They tried to move it by pulling on the mirror. Snap, and the mirror was hanging by a thread.

We did not file a claim, since I was glad just to get our stuff and specially the bikes. I had Lamonster fix the mirror.

This story a bit off topic...but it still amounts to the luck of the draw IMO.
