Shipping a 2015 Spyder RT Limited.

I am shipping my Spyder across the Country.
The Spyder will probably be moved to several trucks before it's arrival.
If the parking brake is engaged and the battery should die, will this
prevent the parking brake from being able to disengage and thereby not
allowing any manual movement of the Spyder or will the parking brake
automatically release if the battery dies.

If it stays engaged with a dead battery this could present some serious problems with the ability to manually move the Spyder.

Should the parking brake be left off?

Why would the battery die? :dontknow:
Who is going to be moving the bike from truck to truck?
I would include some VERY specific instructions about the steps to start the bike, release the brake, move the bike, set the brake, and then shut off the bike,,,

Several trucks? I didn't know that went on.

When my battery went dead, the parking brake was on and wouldn't release. I ended up jacking the rear wheel up and put it on a dolly to move the bike.

You might consider building a pallet, strap the bike to it. They could then use a forklift to move it around.

Hi bob,
Have you considered driving to location and flying back. If you have time would be nice trip. I use frequent flyer mileage when I can. The cost factor might be better than you think. Just a thought. The best with your move.
