• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Try the perfectly fitted sheepskin seatcovers by Hartco International. The one inch sheared sheepskin gives you a much softer heat and perspiration free ride. I love mine!

Thanks. I've been looking for one.

It doesn't look good that no prices are listed on their web site......but we will see.

Another honorable mention are the Sheepskin seatcovers from Alaska Leather. They do mail order. Have several sizes and styles, including just sheepskin and sheepskin/gel combos.

Have always had a set for my Spyders. Prior to my hip replacement they were used/not used depending on the pain of the day.

As a former leather purveyor, we sold these items when they were very popular in the 80's. They do work. They offer insulation from the heat in the summer. Just don't leave them out in the rain.

YES !! they work, and YES - keep them outta the rain. They do dry off pretty quickly though when tied to the top case for an hour at 70mph.:)

As long as they are pretty much new--water does not have to much of an effect on them. A year or older, and they will soak it up like a sponge.

I love soft heat. Better even than dry heat. Now, if I could just get a soft, dry heat I'd be in the pink! :joke:

Alaska leather

Been using sheepskins from Alaska Leather for > 10 years. They are very nicely done. And as far as getting them wet, I would argue this is not a problem at all as I spent 74 days on the ocean sitting on these for 10-12 hours a day and they performed admirably well, soaking up the salt.
