• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I would love to see what others have done to line and or modify their trunk and trunk lid area other than the BRP liner.

Please share no matter how minor.

I don't have a pic., but one of the neatest that I have seen is one gender of velcro glued to the inside of the trunk lid. Then the other gender of velcro on whatever will be attached inside. For example flashlight, multi-purpose tool, etc. etc.

Smokster..got to have some details on this. What is it made out of.
Had the BRP liner, thought it took up too much space.
I sell trade show exhibits. We have fabric (velcro acceptable) that I double face each side template to the walls of the Spyder.
Velcro everything to it.
No digging around for anything.
The bottom is a false bottom for emergency tools and such.
Hope this helps

Looks good smokster. My Spyder trunk looks like a teenagers bedroom. Stuff laying all aver the place in it. :D

question

my dealer installed the power accessory before the trunk liner. can i install it right without removing the trunk?

:hun: The 12 V outlet is supposed to be installed in the trunk before the trunk liner, which just slips in and out. There is a velcroed flap in the liner, over the outlet, for access. Pain in the rump, like the one over the tools, but it does work adequately.

Very good. My trunk is a mess. Like the false bottom and use of velcro. Got carpet squares stuck to my shed wall and velcro lots of stuff to these bits of carpet. Have velcroed a watch to a bike that doesn't have a clock in the instrument cluster.

I guess putting 30 cans of beer and a bag of ice in the trunk is not an option now.

I can still get a nice size cooler in there.
The cigars are in the hidden area:cheers:
