Can anyone help? We splurged with a gift to ourselves and purchased a new set ( 2 of everything ) of Nolan N103's with J&M 584's for my wife and I. I have tried every adjustment I can think of and the feedback is terrible for the passenger set only. If I adjust too low to cut out the feedback I can't hear her. She hears me fine from the front where there is no problems. I even tried a few of the 'band-aid' over the mic 'trick' to decrease sensitivity but it only decreases the effectiveness of the mic as if I lowered it on the controls and really doesn't get rid of the 'squeal'. If I plug into the passenger outlet I get the same thing in MY helmet. This problem is only when plugged into the passenger outlet. Just about one month ago we purchased a new pair of 'Performance' headsets for a pair of 10 year old Nolan flip up helmets and that set worked fine ... no feedback issues. Everything is the 'HO' (high output) microphones.
So, is anyone else having similar issues. Don't know what to do. We love these helmets. The clarity is fantastic. Besides they cost way more than $1.50!!!! If I have to buy her a new setup then so be it but which one?? Any suggestions are greatly appreciated in advance ... THANKS!!!
