• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Ok, I'm trying to redeem myself by getting the information out to you all a bit earlier than I have been doing this year! So, mark your calendars to save the date of this ride :)

Our Labor Day Weekend Ride will take us north to Grand Forks - we have some members that live up there and would like to show us around the area - so our first night stay will be in Crookston at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites. Here is the phone number: 218.470.1111, when you call tell them you are with the "Caswell Riders" to get the group rate and be in the block of rooms that have been set aside for us.

Sunday, September 2, we will head towards Bemidji to stay at the Super 8 - it's becoming our home in the northland - 218.751.8481, as above mention our group name here to.

On Sunday we will have our annual picnic at Seth & Heather's house. If you would like to help out with expenses or pick up dishes to share that would be nice.

As the ride gets closer I'll send out another notice with more specifics as to departure time and route plans.

Hope to many of you of this ride, Paula

This sounds interesting.... Can Spyder owners from MI attend Paula?
Most definitely, we would love to have you join us. There is an AmericInn located in Mora that you could stay at the night before. That way you could join us at our departure point at Caswell Cycle and meet some of our riders before heading out on our trip.

Oops...don't know what happened to the beginning of the original email, but let's try this again:

We will be leaving from the Caswell home at 8am Saturday, September 1 heading to Little Falls to have breakfast at the Black and White Cafe. This will give some of our Spyder riders another starting point that may work better for them than Mora.

At this point Les will lead us through the countryside on our way to Crookston for our first nights stay at the Cobblestone Hotel & Suites (218.470.1111)

Sunday morning we will leave at the time that was agreed upon by the group Saturday night :) heading east to Bemidji for our second nights stay at Super 8 (218.751.8481). After our day of riding we will have a picnic at Heather and Seth's home. If you want to help with the picnic you can either donate toward the meal or bring something to share.

Looking forward to riding with you this weekend.
