• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

sensor location

Depends what you are riding. Our 2016 F3L has an option under "mode" to keep the night screen on. After checking on this the only option I have is the contrast amount for night or day. With your spyder in a dark garage turned on and the night dash showing, use a narrow beam flashlight to locate the sensor and use a piece of black tape to cover it.

For an RT, it is near the speedometer and tachometer. Once you find it, a piece of black electrical tape can cover it. I assumed you were asking about night/day.

I tried the piece of tape trick. It doesn't work unless you cover so much of the display that it becomes useless.

It helps if we know which model year RT you have...
On the 2010 to 2017 models: it's at about the 10:00 position on the Analog Speedometer... but you WILL end up covering up too much of the gauge, for this to be truly useful...
