• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Secure and Solid Mirrors

I just thought I would share what I did to make the mirrors more solid and secure on my 2015 Spyder RT Limited. I drilled a hole in the plastic of the mirrors and into the cowl, and inserted one stainless steel security metal torx screw in each mirror. These are the ones similar the the ones BRP uses to hold the push pins on the side tupperware - they have a pin in the center that requires a special bit to remove them. I used a #10 x 1.5 inch screw. Works good, solids up the mirrors and acts as a theft deterrent for the mirrors. Check out the photo and notice the silver dots at the front bottom black plastic of each mirror, which are the screws.

i pulled the cover off, put a few drops of silicone & then snapped it back on, no more rattle at all and you can't see what i did yet
i can still pull it off if i had to

a close up would be nice to see

Certainly. Here is that close up that you would like to see. Mirror is solid and now cannot be knocked off without the special torx security bit to remove the screw first. Hope this helps you see what I did.

I did the same thing, but with black screws. Works good.
