• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Back in Jan 2010 http://www.spyderlovers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=16387 the DPS was replaced (acting with sudden drifts in the opposite side). A week ago steering was "sticking" for every 5 degrees at speed under 20 mph (some of you experienced this ryding Silver Dream in Chicago) until today when is frozen completely. Finally the "Check DPS" shows on the display. Parts ordered at West Coast Power Sports, Clearwater Fl. :shocked:
 
Hope they get it sorted out and have you back on the road quickly.

How many DPS units is this for your Spyder now?
 
Hey Dave, Mine, uh...... your old one, is doing great. I know it's been changed at least once, but I have had no issues at all (except for me blowing the tail light fuse, but I caused that.)

Great to hear Randy. I figured they got it right after the last one, but lost faith and refused to drive her much. Now the RTS, thats a different story. You have to drag me off it.

that sucks doc, I got your message, called ya back call me again if you need something I can get, I wish I got another one to give ya. See I told you the elite riders could have gotten these to send out to owners who need them.
 
DPS

A second DPS !! Not good. That's a pain if you rely on the Spyder for transport. Sounds like BRP need to get the DPS manufactured somewhere other that at present.
