• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seats

No, seat lines are different. Different side profiles. RT seat has a flat side profile. RS/GS seats have an upward cut out along the side as you get to the passenger part of the seat.

What about some of the seat cushions, like gel cushions and ones like that...anyone had any sucess like that instead of buying a new seat?

Suggestions on seats...
That's a bit like asking "Blondes versus Brunettes, versus Redheads"... :yikes:
The best that I can say, is contact all of the ones that seem to interest you, and ask questions..
Well; that, and go to SpyderFest 2013! You'll find all sorts of bikes with all sorts of seats... most owners will be happy to let you try it on for size if you ask nicely! ;)

I have a Russell Day-Long and I've never had an issue keeping my butt cool. So no I don't. I did have an Airhawk but I found it unnecessary when I got the Russell.
