Seat Stud Adjustment

I got a deal on the Can Am tank bag and installed it yesterday. I have noticed that the seat is now hard to close. I looked at the stud and see that it can be adjusted. Right now I have to turn the key, and press down on the seat to get it open, and its pretty hard.
Anyone have the same problem, and will the adjusting the screw take care of this small problem, thanks

I have the tank bag too. It rubs the seat when you lift/lower the seat, but it does latch w/o a problem.

Yes, the bolt is adjustable, just like the one on the trunk.

You should be able to fix the problem by just lengthening the seat latch pin just a touch.
