• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Has anybody installed a seat skin and does it look good? Also most important does it change any comfort to the seat?

See, now THAT'S a good hint!

Thanks...

a little too cold here for that..... BUT.... one of those heat guns, .......from home depot (it's like a hair dryer on steroids)..... now THAT comes in handy!

don't use a heat gun way to hot if its to cold were you are throw it in the dryer for a few minutes check it then install

Left 8:30 am to pick up seat skin.....got to dealer (18 miles away) at noon....had lunch on north jax motorsports...got home about 3:00 pm, put the knee panels on first ( my fingers are barely nimble enough to work that weatherstrip on) that was the hardest i've had to work at any mod so far on my Spyder. Put seat skin on next, laid it in the sun for a while, stretched the skin on, darted it per instructions, made a great difference in the look of the seat (probably the easiest thing i've done on this thing so far). Took her for a short run (only half an hour this time) and it really does make a difference in steering, so much easier to move around on the seat with the skin on. I'm happy with all mods so far, still having doubts about the usefulness of the knee panels, they seem out of position with my knees, look ok though. :spyder:  ;D
