• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

noticed today that the upper threading on my seat passanger side is wearing out already ...this is my second seat since my first lost the front triangle..im only 210 lbs. Corbin seats are close to 800 bucks last i looked..yes i keep it covered from the sun

Corbin Warranty

Yes they are and Corbin's warranty protocol is the pits, take the seat off and send it in for restiching then send it back to you. In lieu of taking one off the shelf and send you home a happy customer

Save your self the trouble

Most likely... for less $$$ than the cost of shipping the seat to the factory, why don't you just take the seat
off and take it to a local automotive upholstery shop, they can fix it in no time maybe even while you wait.

We just got a a new stock seat replaced on Sat. for the same problem under a goodwill gesture.

I would try to find a local upholstery to repair it.
Shipping that big seat could get exspensive.

Have to agree..!!

finding a local shop to repair it will save you in the long run. They can also reinforce weaker points and save you from having to do it again...:gaah:

Why BRP does not reinforce the weaker points to make thing right first time.
With the number of seat they change they know it.

If you are still under warranty then you should have your dealer replace the seat under warranty. We have to drive the defects back to the factory or they will never make improvements to future products.

There have been a few seat issues mentioned, but I do not think it is a major defect across the board. Most that I can recall, seem to have been replaced under warranty by BRP.

I have also had two Corbin seats and two BRP Comfort Seats--since I can't stand the softness of the OEM seats on the :ani29:. Never had an issue with any of the above.

BRP will replace the seat no questions asked under warranty. I've had two OEM seats come unstitched and both were replaced. The third one hasn't had a problem so far.
