• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seat cushions

I know you didn't mention this one but I've got sheep skin. Cool in summer and warm in winter. And it's only about a fourth of the cost!

SEAT PAD

I have used a sheepskin covered gel pad on my 08 GS, and now on my 2012 RT. together about 40,000 miles and like it a LOT. Today I tried an Airhawk air cushion, did not like as it seems to be a lot warmer on the butt, and not as comfy. Also, my gel pad has velcro strip holding it on the seat so I can remove it quickly to lock in fronk or whatever.

I have a Corbin seat, Seal Floorboards, an Alaska Leather sheepskin/gel pad, and an earlier version of the Airhawk (not the R model). I flip the pads around depending on the pain of the moment. My adjustments have to do mostly with hip extension--sometimes need more/sometimes less. The pads give me the necessary height adjustment for the days ride. The Airhawk needs to be adjusted so you sit "IN" it, rather than "ON" it. Once you get past that, you should be good to go. No specific preference between the gel pad or the Airhawk--per your original question.

Thanks for the opinions-----I've decided to go with the Skwoosh. Will let you know when I get it, how it is after a few rides.I have a sheepskin I may use with it.Will experiment.
