• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Searching for St radio kit

So, I finally have the money to buy the ST radio kit, and of course it has been discontinued. I was wondering if anyone knows of one hiding out somewhere that I could get my hands on? I have sent a message to BRP to see if they could help. Not sure how that will go.

Many folks here have added ones from SHARK ( including LaMont )…… they work best with an MP-3 or I-phone etc..... The antennae is too small to get good reception ….. Mike :ohyea:

I just bought a 2014 STS with a radio kit. The controls are mounted in the fairing that you would typically consider the tank. If I can find a replacement fairing I am going to remove the stereo and sell it so I have more storage space in the frunk.

Side note: anyone know what the name of that tank fairing is?

My wife has the ST-L with the radio, I think she's taken it off mute 2 times in the 4 years we've owned it. Ha ha.

I have a 2013 ST-S that didn't come with the stereo either. Would love to find one as well if there's any out there. I'm not too savvy so I will be letting someone install for me.

The factory kits from Can Am are discontinued and pretty much non-exsistant. You might get lucky finding one but I doubt it at this point.

The radio is not bad but a good communication headset may work out better, certainly more options & easier to find.

Thank you very much for the information Triumphcycleman! I have already called and left a message about it. Since it's New Years they are obviously closed.

Just wanted to give an update. Unfortunately Cernics didn't show as having any radios.. It could be the person I was talking to didn't know much or they may truly not have them anymore but anyways thanks for the tip. ;)

I bought a 600 watt amp with two 3.5 inch speakers from Shark and installed on my other bike. Sounds great - I downloaded tunes onto a usb - and I have all my favorites for hours and hours. Radio will work but just like BRP's radio - kind of weak.

I need to do that too but I'm just not sure how it looks on your bike. If you get a chance would you mind posting a picture of how the radio looks.

Does anybody know if a radio from a 2010 RT-S is the same as one from a 2013 ST-S? Does it have the same hookups and functions??
