• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

998cc Sealing engine gaskets, clutch cover

Did I mess up? I need your expert advise. I replaced the water pump on my 2013 RTS. I bought all new seals, gaskets, crush washers, etc. I have done a lot of work on cars, motorcycles, 4 wheelers etc. On most engine gaskets I have used they absorb oil and expand to form a good seal. I knew I wasn't going to be adding oil soon so I thought I would help it along so I coated the clutch cover gasket with oil before putting it together. Then I got to thinking about it and wondered if this particular gasket is not made like that. When I took it apart it looked like they just installed it dry with no sealer. I would rather replace it now than get it together and find out it leaks. Thanks for any help.
