• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Put my my seal floorboards on this weekend, 200 mi ryde and loved every minute of it. I was pretty happy with just the OEM pegs but these floorboards give me so many foot positions and now I wonder how I did without. Great product, Easy Install, Great Service.

Bravo Zulu to John Anderson. :2thumbs:

 I find myself riding with my legs practically all the time outstretched, with my feet half way above the extended board positions.

I enjoy turning the bike right or left with pressing down on them as well. With a back rest it locks you into the turns too!

I couldn't agree more!

It looks like you powder coated your floorboards...? Any issues with your feet slipping when the boards are wet? I'd love to see a full pic of the boards with the :spyder2:. :2thumbs:

We're actually pretty darn lucky here! John is providing an excellent set of boards; and we've also got a couple of other real winners also!
The aftermarket has really plugged up this hole in BRP's product line!

Ticketbait has a set of very early Seal FloorBoards, before I added the vinyl, diamond plate pad and chrome trim.......a real collectors set:roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:. He could, at any time, add the trim and diamond plate as an upgrade. Lots of guys have. The bare powdercoat can be a bit slippery at times.

Ah, ok...I wasn't aware of the earlier sets. Thanks John!
Can't remember designing anything perfectly in my 41 yrs. as a sculptor. However, with the recent addition on the new "square lock" rear bracket and the 3/4" aluminum brake shim, I'm kinda running out of things to improve the Seals. All the orders are shipped for today...guess I'll bounce and take a......

You deserve a nice ryde this afternoon John! Sounds like you're having a productive Summer. Mary and I are "ryding in comfort" up in the mountains east of San Diego.

What's the deal on the square lock rear bracket? I have a set from last year and I'm just curious...

Hey John, I'm interested in the new "square lock" rear bracket, but I don't see it in the product list on your site. Would like to know how to go about getting a set.

Really enjoy riding in comfort with the DLX Seal floor boards !!!

Ralph

The new Rear bracket has a square pet instead of a round peg that goes into the passenger foot peg slot. It is only really of value to those who ride two up and need to have the passenger pegs raised up to accommodate a short legged passenger. For the vast majority of you, it's not necessary. I;m charging $15. for a set. This covers packaging and shipping . If you want a set PLEASE just send me a check TO:

As I said, it really only applies to a small number of you.
