• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seal Floorboards

John,
Let us know when they will posted on your web site. I have been waiting for these since I talked to you in Cuba. Can not wait.

One thing I have never liked with any of the highway pegs is how they come out under the bottom and look like they were an afterthought (which they were), and not a built in look. The only ones the looked okay to me were the ones that sat on top of the black plastic at the bottom. With these floor boards, it hides those arms that brings the pegs up and makes it look alot cleaner. Now I may be interested. May have to call the bank for another loan, lol. ;)

Cool Hank,

I have them in stock ready to ship. I too hate the "tacked on" look that lots of mods have. I think a mod should look like it's part of the bike, not an after thought. Guess that's what 42 yr. as a sculptor has done to me:dontknow:.

Got my DLX RT SE5 floorboards...

and got them installed in between raindrops... rain should end this evening and can't wait to give them a ride...

One thing, John- Easy install really, but the instructions should mention to reuse the heavy cast iron fitting from underneath the foot peg. Not intuitive on first look. Only clue was the length of the bolts.

But like I said, easy install, look great and appear comfortable, at least sitting in the garage!

Thank you all your pre-sales support, John.

Hi FrankPa,

It was my pleasure working with you. Many do not replace the cast iron weight. It is for vibration dampening and the weight of the FloorBoards do that just fine. Hate to say it but I used those long bolts because my finger dexterity makes shorter bolts a real problem for these old fingers. Use them or don't, it's up to you.

Ride in comfort,

John
