• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I recently ordered the diamond pattern rubber matting and chrome trim package to upgrade my existing floorboards. John, by mistake, sent me a new , already upgraded set of boards. Instead of just shipping them back, he let me keep the new ones and just send back my old ones. They look great and I appreciate the great service. During a couple of rides this week, I had numerous Spyder riders ask about them and wanted more info to purchase them. John, I salute the great product and your service. :2thumbs:

Wow, what a great write-up of a screw up. We got so busy processing all the orders for the new Seal FloorBoards RT SE5 DLX that we got confused and made a mistake. All I did was admit it and try to make it right.

I would also like to say that I have been very happy with the Seal Floorboards (I can't imagine riding without them) and in my dealings with John. I also had a mix-up occur with the new DLX pads; I informed John and he responded right away to make it right. That is the way to do business! Thanks John.

I too had a great experience with John. I was probably one of the first to order his floorboards for my SM5. When I received the order (one week and one day from placing the order and considering I live in South Florida and he is in Oregon) the "contents had shifted" in shipping and a bracket had rubbed off a spot on the floorboard. He immediately shipped me a replacement board and told me to return the bad one at my convenience.

It's been a year later and the boards look like the day I put them on. I don't have the diamond plate, I have the black powder coat. Great product and great customer service. Hey John, need to go out and buy a new hat for your enlarged head????? lol

Anyone who gets a big head out of trying to correct a screwup needs to have his head examined. I've sold a lot of floorboards and had a few problems. I try my best to take care of them but once in a while an order just works out poorly as noted above. That was on an RS and I have corrected the problem but not in time for one customer. I have apologized to him.

I will arrive late on Tuesday...'cause that is Corbin day and they guarantee the latest I will be on road is 3 p.m. and I calculate a max of 5 hrs to Eureka...unless I or Ms Spyder cops an attitude.
Have let event organizers know I am a late arrival. Told her to put me in a Redwood ryde...whatever works best for them.. Staying at Motel 8...
