• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seal Floorboards

Hey everybody, just a note to let everybody know about my new Seal Floorboards. I had them installed today. (If I had any mechanical ability I could have done it myself, but I need instructions on changing a light bulb) I ordered them on a Tuesday and they arrived the following Monday.

They are great. :2thumbs: First off, if somebody was not familar with a :spyder2:, I don't think they would think these are an after marked add on. The fit and finish are perfect. The pictures on his site don't show it clearly, but the front of the floorboard tapers away from the plastic panel, so there is plenty of room for your foot to use as a highway peg. The brake pedal is moved forward a couple of inches. There is room to rest your foot beside the pedal or behind it. I have the SM, so the same is true on the shifter. Plus they are sturdy enough, you can step on them and swing your leg over the seat both getting off and on.

One last thing, my right floorboard arrived with some scratches from the contents in the box shifting.:yikes: John has corrected the packing problem and he has a replacement coming to me. Outstanding customer service.

Very happy :spyder2: owner.

I'm glad to hear that you're liking them, Jim! All too often we only hear about the things that folks don't like...
I've trying to make up my mind about which boards to get, and I've been narrowing my search down... The Seals are still in the hunt! :2thumbs:

Excellent write up. Simple and to the point. I may buy over the winter months.

Yep, thanks for the write up. I have been looking at these for my 08 GS SM5, but I am also looking at the SFBRacing ones also. :dontknow: Still not sure which way I want to go, but I do like the fact that the Seal Floorboards have the extension and I would not need to buy the highway pegs.

Post some pics when you get a chance please...:chat:
