• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Seal Floorboards Height & Comfort

I like the looks and size of the Seal Floorboards, but am a little concerned about the foot height when installed. I just sold my cruiser and got my 2008 SE5 so am already adjusting to the different style of ride. I really did like the lower position of floorboards and pegs on the cruiser so looking for a similar set up to stretch out. I set up a platform that approximates the height of the Seal Floorboards and just felt like my legs were way high. Please let me know what your experiences have been with the Seal Floorboards.
Thanks:2thumbs:

If you get in touch with John I'm sure that he can provide you with some ideas about the height... I know that his boards allow you to stretc forward more...
I've got ISCI's boards and they have four different height settings available... but you don't have the same size platform as the Seals...

Hi all you:spyder2:Lovers,

Just a couple of comments on my Seal FloorBoards. They sit at the exact height as the foot pegs that came on your :spyder2:. I have sold to those from 6'6" (8 LeggedFreak) to those of us of more modest height, 5'8" and shorter. I have never heard of any issues with the height of the FloorBoard. The overwhelming comments are those of the benefits of being able to shift knee, leg and foot position during those longer rides. Many comment on the use of the FloorBoard as a great mounting step for both the rider and passenger. As I have said many times, I designed the Seal FloorBoard first and foremost for my personal riding comfort. No product is right for everyone, but so far I have had nothing but favorable comments on the comfort of the ride.

I am more than happy to talk with anyone who has any questions (by PM or thread). If you want a FloorBoard that gives the maximum in riding position and is designed to blend in beautifully with the total look of your RS or RT, Seal FloorBoards are probably what your looking for. Finally, I would ask that you compare prices and quality. For me, cost is still an issue when considering my mods.

Ride in comfort,

John
