• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How hard are they to install and I can't tell from the picture what is the back bolted to? I can't imagine it is just held on by the 2 screws on the front peg that hold the pad in place

Give John a call on Monday when he is back from his ride and will help you. Yes 2long go in to foot peg and the long l shape in the rear foot peg. Look at the Ins that came with and you will get it. Install about 30 mins. Or pm me me with cell and can help you install them Oky. J.w

I installed them myself...quite easy. there is a bracket that the back of the floorboard screws into. the bracket fits in the slot where the back foot rest is. I highly recommend the floorboards. good luck!

Bring your :spyder2: and the seals up here and I'll be more than glad to assist you with them,, Took me about 15 min to install :banghead::banghead::banghead: ;);) Wayne

Really, really easy, I even installed them my self. You should have got instructions, really ebay to follow. Mine was a SE5, a bit more work for a manual

They have you covered. I have them on both Spyders. 30 min for the first and 15 min for the second set to be installed.

It raises the brake pedal pad so that you do not have to worry about "bottoming out" against the floorboard.

I run the extended brake pedal pad--so even more important in my case.

one last question

Is the passenger foot rest still functional after the seals are put on and how does the brake extension fit on

As I recall from another thread, the passenger footrests have to be all the way down, but they still work.

I have a new rear bracket that will allow the passenger pegs to be set at any height. Only those who ride two up will bnefit from these.

What makes them so expensive?

Just curious as to what makes the Sealboards so darn expensive? I'd like to get some some time but seem to be pretty pricey even though they are great!

I need INFO. about seal floor boards

Can some one give me information about the board on the right side ( I don't have them yet)
I have seen photos showing a slot going through the board with a device sticking up through it
that is attached to the brake, but it does not have a rubber pad on it like the brake on everything with brakes
it only has the metal that looks to be about 3 inch wide and about 1/4 in. thick sticking up through about
maybe 3 or so inches....
Is that the finished product????????
Thanks for any info. :hun:

What you see is a 3/16" powder coated steel brake pedal. It is designed to be used with either the heel or toe (I always preferred the heel). I don't use a wide rubber coated pad because I want to keep the brake pedal slot narrow for a cleaner look. There is no chance of foot slipping off or catching. I tried several variations and liked this one best. I've only had positive feedback from those who have used it.
