• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 Upshifts

I have noticed that upshifts on the SE5 seem to be a bit jerky most of the time. I have found that ''feathering'' the throttle just before shifting up seems to smooth it out. Any else with an SE5 notice this?

I have an SE and just keep rolling the throttle on the upshifts. Very smooth. Now downshifts while sloing is a disappointment.. Sometimes stalls or lurches forward.

I have also noticed the jerky effect of the upshifts on my SE5. Feathering the throttle just a bit smooths shifting out very nicely. Any one experience a engine stall while waiting for a light to change. It would not restart. Had to "reboot" the system by shutting down and then it restarted, ....thanks Mickc
