• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 Transmission

My SE5 transmission lost it's mind today for the first time. Was in stop-and-go traffic and when stopped it would stay wanting to roll, so I put it in neutral, so I could put it back in first, (as I have done several times before) and....nope, stayed in neutral. Wife got off to push, moved it about 2 feet, then it went into 1st. After that, still in stop-and-go traffic, when it wanted to roll at a stop, I put my foot firmly on the foot brake to be sure it didn't jump, popped the throttle, which revved up the engine, heard a clunk, and the trans was where it was supposed to be, not wanting to roll. Ahhh the never ending saga of mechanics. And...the "fix" HAS been done on it!:dontknow:

If the SE5 Spyder is moving in neutral it will not shift into first. If I remember right.

That is correct. I was stopped, had put it in neutral to go back to first, but it did not go back into first right away. All is well now, just another lesson learned.:sour:
