• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

SE5 question?

Here's my ignorant question of the day. If I don't ask I'll never know.

How do you blip the throttle when using the SE5 transmission? You obviously don't pull in on the clutch lever.

The Spyder SE has an electronic throttle-blipper built in. You just hold the throttle open and let the machine do the work.

Or you can let off just before you hit the shift button and twist it again after just as you would do if you had a clutch, I do this when I am riding it hard and it reacts like it is a manual model. Once in while I can get the rear tire to burn some rubber in 2nd gear as well but of course the annoying nanny always kicks in.

I blip my throttle all the time on my SE5 specially when I'm in second or third gear comming to a stop so other dummys know I'm comming up along side of them

NO blip's here if wonted to BLIP!, I'ed got the SM5. Running the gap in NC. I held the gas then use the finger or the thumb witch ever I need. I've run the gap on two alot of times but I must say that we realy injoyed the spYder much much more. :spyder:
