If the O rings in the shift pistion (actuator) fail the dust boot can retain the leaked oil & dump it randomly, making it hard to know there is a problem. Lack of drip spots. & or then you may find 1big one:dontknow: & yes it is also using engine oil somehow :gaah: this was just discovered on mine & will be down few days but at least it's found & early enough in the year not while out on some trip.
