• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Screw bit to fit RT panels screws, where to find them.

I am asking for a friend. The screws that hold on the panels on the RT are a bit different form the RS, don't know what they are called but they have a hole in the middle to fit in the screws. Where can you find these to remove the RT panels?

I got a set at Harbor Freight. I call them torx with a hole. Thought I needed them for my 2012 but like Roger said they don't come out. Regular torx for most with some allen. Saw on another post they are anti tamper torx or security torx. Google to find a store near you.

Most of the panel screws are T-30 torx. The silver ones on the side of the RT (Where the 2 panels meet) are security screws that don't need to be removed. just pull on the panel, and they will come apart.

If you need the ones with the pin hole. I got mine at Sears. There are a lot of Habor Frieght around here as well.

If you loosen the security Torx screws on the side panels it will be very differcult to get the "Darts", that's what BRP calls them, to be oriented correctly.

Do not remove the silver security screws. They merely hold the pins that fit into the rubber grommets. Pulling the panel back releases the pins. The remainder of the panel fasteners are regular torx (black) and push rivets.
