Scotty,
I've read a previous post where you cut the wing bolt and installed a RAM mount on it. Do you have any problems with the gps slowly lowering itself due to the wing bolt loosening by way of the downward pressure of the gps?
I used a spacer instead of cutting and when I mount the RAM arm and gps and put a little pressure on the RAM mount, the wing bolt moves; so, when I am riding I can see the gps slowly lower. I've installed a wave lock washer inboard and outboard of the spacer and now it takes more pressure to move the wing bolt; I'm not sure what will happen now when I go for a ride as I haven't tried that set up yet.
