There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

We have been getting these calls for a few years now. We get far less than we used to. I guess they have moved on to harass others. It is always a foreign accent with a very English name calling from Microsoft Technical support and they have received some error messages about our computer.
Sometimes I/we just swear at them and hang up but also try to irritate them. Have played along and said "ok, I have to go and turn on the computer and have to put the phone down for a minute." Put it down and leave them there for a long time and of course they eventually hang up. I figure if they are going to waste my time, I'll waste there's. Have also played along asking them questions and then say, "I don't understand how we could be having problems with Microsoft errors because we have a Mac". Or, "how can that be, we don't have a computer or that's funny, we just got it yesterday and it's still in the box."
Hate them bothering us but sometimes you just have to have some fun with them.

I hand the phone to my 3 year old grandson, he jabbers to them and then they hang up. lol.... Funny to listen in, some little man in a foreign country that cannot understand him, lol....They will keep trying to make sense of it for quiet some time, mean while my little guy is telling him about dinosaurs and his draft horses, lol
