• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saved my Bacon

Update: My battery badly failed the load test so I purchased a replacement Duracell AGM battery at "Batteries Plus Bulbs". Perfect fit.

I purchased Lamonster's Battery Pack and Jumper mainly for charging devices when I travel. I also got it in case I needed to jump my RT. It saved my bacon yesterday as I had a completely dead battery on my RT, and charging it did no good. As soon as I'd turn the key the voltage would drop below 10v. The worst part is I was parked in the middle of my gravel drive. I pulled out the jump pack and it immediately started the bike. I left it connected and rode my bike to the barn and parked it there. To my amazement the battery pack still showed 100%. Thank you, Lamont!

Here's a link to the product: http://www.lamonstergarage.com/rugged-geek-1000a-safety-gen-2-battery-jump-pack-lamonster/

I bought one too. Haven't had to use it, but it's nice to know it's there just in case (for times like that!)

Good to hear...

They do come in handy and can get you and or others out of a tight situation.

The booster packs work very well. You just have to remember to charge it up regularly. If you have not used it. Once a year may be enough. But likely better every 6 months.

I check the charge on mine quarterly and it has always shown 100%. Thankfully have not had to use it.

Amazing thing. A friend has one - started THREE Rams with Cummins. In a row. Without recharging. Mine started neighbor’s car at 30-below and still showed 100%.

What is the physical size and weight? Did not see it in the ad.

Anything being sold for a motorcycle should always include the physical size and weight in the advertising. Those two things are a major concern if you are carrying it on a bike.

Nevermind.......... found it on Amazon. 6.3 x 2.9 x 1.3 inches & 2.95 pounds

Not too large and reasonable amount of extra weight.

Paid 70 for 2000a, used it twice, left in spyder, 35 days later, still at 100%.
Apparently, I didn’t need one this big for spyder.
