So you can't do a burn out???

Lamont can do that with his trailer tires! He's probably got the new hybrid drive hiding in there powering his trailer, if the RS guys eat his dust... as reported

You stll shift with the SE manually, you just don't pull in a lever to do it.

While both of my Spyders have been SM5 -- I've ridden SE5 models and they really work great.

YES--- you can do a burnout.....and NO... you don't have to let off the gas to shift... just hammer thru the gears.. quicker than you can do on an SM5.

I consider the limited models to be the top of the line-- just like a car with all the features like AC and power windows.... so in that respect I would consider the SE5 to be an 'upgrade'.

If the SM5 and SE5 were the same price I probably would have bought the SE5 on my last Spyder......

The SEs sure do look a ton better, since BRP updated the shift points and addressed some of the previous issue. :thumbup::thumbup:
