Satellite Radio hookup

So I hooked up the satellite radio today in the rear trunk. The one thing I wanted was the key to kill the radio when in the key is off. So, wired it into the license plate light. Question, is there any pro are cons? :dontknow::dontknow:thanks for any feedback.

I think all you have to do is change fuse size of the trunk plug & it will shut off with key
