• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Satan's Bridge

My Class C Outlaw is just under 11' tall.
Magellan and Garmin both make GPS units for TVs, that allow you to input your vehicle dimensions.
In theory: it can then divert you from situations like these.

This is in Durham, NC (about 30 miles from me) and I pass this every Sunday on my way to work. It is amazing how many people hit this train bridge. There is another crossing that is not covered by the camera that is almost as bad (only 3 blocks away). You can see in the picture that they have a huge steel beam there to protect the bridge from getting damaged. It happens bad enough to be on the news about every 2-3 months. Some of the hits are not big enough to stop traffic, so they just pick up the parts and continue on.

ooouch!!!

We had one of those near the house we lived in in Connecticut. The merritt parkway has them and though trucks are not allowed they still find their way there...:yikes:
I think it is a plot with the RV AC manufacturing companies.....:roflblack:

Back in the 80's when I drove OTR, I had a book that listed all the known low overpasses in the U.S. Got it at a truck stop. I always heard there is no excuse for topping a trailer out. I tend to agree.
