• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sandra's first holiday

On holiday this week and taking Sandra for her first holiday to Kent which is about 225 miles from where I live. She has now done just over 300 miles locally which involved town, city and a few motorways. We both love riding in the wind and rain and would like to take on our next challenge which is a 4 hour trip to Kent (This is where Jeff OJ UK lives). Hotel is booked for 2 nights and I am looking forward to the journey tomorrow.
So far my relationship with Sandra has been fantastic. We have not made one mistake since we got together riding and we are like ballroom dancers when we are out riding the streets, taking the bends, corners and lane changes elegantly, cautiously and safely every time.
Other road users are saying how considerate I am with Sandra and I tell them its because I communicate on line with experienced Spyder riders who have taught me a thing or two

Back from holiday

Me and Sandra both got back from holiday about an hour ago and have a few pics to follow. A BIG shout out to Jeff (OJ UK) for taking me to a motorcycle gear shop and giving me recommendations for gear to wear whilst riding in winter/summer, coffee and riding tips. Jeff you are like a dad to me and you provided so much entertainment for me, I am already looking forward to meeting you again.
Sandra has now done nearly 900 miles and that's 900 exciting, exhilarating and fun miles.

Enjoy the pics to follow

 Question: How warm (Or cold...), does it get over there at this time of the year?
We're enjoying some VERY good weather right now; it hit 52 degrees here about an hour ago, and had barely dipped below freezing overnight...
(Normally; we're ten degrees colder by now!)

It's been unusually mild for December, Bob and we have yet to have a frost.
today it was around 55oF and on Sunday we saw 58. Usually the frosts start in late October
and I've known it to be into the high 20s by this time of the year.

Glad your enjoying it and getting more comfortable. And on here is one thing but if you go around constantly calling it by name i think people are going to creep out LOL. Keep the reports coming.
