• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Same battery for all models?

battery

i believe one battery fits all. i just installed a motobatt mbtx24u. two year warranty, 112.50 delivered, directly from motobatt. a nice feature of this battery is two pos. and two neg terminals. very handy for hooking up your accessories.

Thanks for your response. Had a Battery Mart. com Big Crank USA made AGM type battery fail after 10 months I returned it at my $18 00 cost ask for a refund. It failed to hold a charge above 11.84 volts after 18 hours. There is not a problem with Spyder as it will go up 13.24 volts at idle. When it would go back down to 11.80 hit starter and would show 7 to 8 volts.Waiting to see what Battery Mart will do. I ask for a refund.Bike would not always re- start after making couple of short hops around town.I found an USA made AGM style one at Auto Zone for $97.00 I will by that one has two year warranty. No more return charges just take back to any Auto Zone.

auto zone

i guess i missed that on there website. all i saw was a 90 day warranty, or i might have got that one myself.
several autobones near me.:banghead: does it have good stats?

if you have a Battery Plus in your area try them they had a good price and a good warranty. I thnik I got the xtreme.

Coz, I just saw same thing as you stated on the Auto Zone sight. Next time I am near there store will double check on this. I was told 2 years by an employee.

Thanks for the tip Mr Coulter, Bought extra duty AGM battery at Battery -Plus. Around $123. And it has a two year warrenty just carry it in to the store to be replaced. Store is near by for me. Still no word from Battery Mart. No more on line battery's bought by me. Do not like the idea of paying shipping on a defective battery to re-turn. Now if they say battery is bad (which I know it is) I think they should repay my shipping fee. Please under stand Batter Mart has been easy to get to talk to a real person and when the can not answer phone I left message and Jill always returns my call. Just talking a while to check out battery.

Do you happen to have a part nr or whatever for that Batt-Plus? They're all around my area and I like to note this kind of info "just in case". Thanks.
