• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I recently tried out some Cortech saddlebags and they were covering up the passenger's foot-pegs. I found some DOWCO saddlebags for half price new on craigslist and wanted to see if anyone had any ideas for mounting? Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

thanks,
Brandon

I have the Nelson Rigg... about the same configuration. Try turning them around so the narrow end is toward the front. Should free up some foot room. (Or you could buy her her own Spyder!):shemademe_smilie:

I tried that with the Cortech backs and had even less room for the passenger's feet.

What happens is you cannot place the bags as far back when they are turned around due to hitting the signal lights. And, if you lower the bags to go below the signal lights, they end up being to close to the stock exhaust.

I installed Kuryakyn rear peg adapters along with their widow pegs to bring the position of the pegs forward. This gives about another 2 1/2" forward movement of the original centerline of the stock pegs. However, I haven't had a chance to have the gf on the bike with the saddlebags to see if she would be comfortable.

Nelson Rigg mini sport bags will fit in front of the turn signals and pull up high enough to allow pasenger pegs to be used. Drawback; not much capacity.
