• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Saddlebag/Trunk Carpet liner

Just as the trunk has a liner I'm wondering if anyone has found anything similar for the bags and trunk? I'm thinking of using some sticky backed felt to the lower sides and floor but not thrilled about the sticking of something that might not last or be easy to remove.

I had a floor carpet in my Goldwing trunk and bags and wonder if there is something similar?

Thanks

I don’t know of anything like that for the RT, the F3 top box has a rubber mat on the bottom of it. I had these organizers on my RT and they work great for gloves and other lightweight items https://www.tricledusa.com/_p/prd1/4416926321/product/3-pc-rt-rear-saddlebag-pockets

Thanks. I'm looking for something to line the bottom and sides so the junk I put in doesn't get shaken around and doesn't scratch the trunk. I'll be visiting a material shop for something to put together.

Yep, I got what the Auto Upholstery shop called Rear Deck felt, it has a rubberlike backing, and I attached it with small Velcro squares. No pictures cause the spyder is still in winter storage.

I'll have to look into this idea. I was thinking of outdoor carpet type of material.

Thanks

You might consider using self adhesive 3M velcro strips to attach the liner material. That would make the liner easier to remove to clean or replace.

3 M also make different sizes of circle Velcro. I have use these A lot and they work a little better than the square ones. PS: Make Sure your area is real clean and Clean those install Fingers. :lecturef_smilie:

have used those also, they do work better than the rectangular ones (the corners don't come up).
wipe the hard surface with an alcohol wipe or paper towel dampened with it-do your fingers too

Thanks for the tips and I’ll post pictures when done.

I will I’ll work on the (soon) as I got busy last night and forgot to fix it. :joke:

Love we the new ride and it’s taking a bit of practice but I’m getting the hang of how the phone pairing dash showing fun works. I got the bike but with the knowledge that in another week or so there will be a software update as the dealer couldn’t do at pickup, and BRP is working on it.

Check Cheap Cycle Parts. It may be one of the parts they have an agreement with BRP on. CCP does not have a sale agreement with BRP on all accessories. How do I know? Was told they don't sell the adjustable driver backrest for the Comfort Seat when I called to ask after not being able to find it in their online catalog by part number.
