• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Sad to see it go!

Well, we never did get to make the trip from Florida to NJ. :( Weather was bad all the way up the coast for a week. Transport company just picked up my :spyder2: (pearl white RT Limited) this morning and now it is on a flatbed (along with someone else's red 54 Chevy) headed up to 95 and on to Jersey. :gaah: We fly up Friday. If anyone happens to see it drive by, send me a report on how it is doing! :roflblack: Missing my :spyder2: already!

This whole
Parked
Motorcycle
Syndome
really does stink! :gaah: In fact I busted mine of the garage and dodged the rain for a short 2-mile jog just so that my sanity wouldn't completely evaporate! :D

...and it felt GREAT!! I hope that you pack your helmet as carry-on! :2thumbs:

Getting a lot of rain here in Ontario Canada as well. A co-worker tells me that they are in a major draught situation in Europe.

Don't worry too much Floridagirl. You'll be ryding in the wind before you know it. And it will be a lot cooler, at least for awhile. See you in Maggie Valley.
:2thumbs:

You guys need to buy some rain gear and go ride. :D

I admit it... I am a fair weather rider. If I am caught in rain while riding, I get the rain gear on and tolerate it, but I usually do not head out when it is raining.
Having said that, since I got my spyder in '08, I have been caught about a 1/2 dozen times in heavy rain and or sleet with just t-shirt and jeans. Once your drenched your drenched.

While I don't like riding in the rain, I've got no reservations about pulling on "the suit" and heading out if it's necessary... Tonight I already know that I'm heading for a Hunter Education Instructor's refresher seminar and lightning is in the forecast... It ought to be fun!! :D :yikes:
