• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

God is telling me to not to speak french. almost got a 1/4 mile from home when the
shifting fiasco and limp mode started. little over 400 miles on it. dealer is sending a trailer
monday to pick it up. how many others here have had this in the shop more than once
for this? how many times to invoke the lemon law ? or dont you?
got the for sale signs off the victory,rode up to dealer after hours, then left and had a
great rest of the afternoon. im past the getting mad stage. would just like to ride without worry for once.
maybe i need a '16.

just in case--title line[same ole s--t, different day !]:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Have Faith

Bad things happen both to good people and to good machines. Go out to your garage and assure your machine and yourself that it will get better. Give your dealer a chance to figure out what is going on. It may take a couple of attempts, so try to pay close attention to details that you can share with the dealer if necessary. Don't give up.

Found this in another post about that sensor....

"When I bought my 2015F3S the sensor was replaced with a new one, but like you, I had issues after several hundred miles. I took it to my dealer, who has a great mechanic, and he said the new sensor was not properly introduced to the computer (different dealer). He fixed it within 20 minutes and have had no problems in 1000+ miles since".

I'm not sure about this new lingo - "introduced" - but I suspect it means that the GBPS (Gearbox Position Sensor) Reset procedure, or something similar, was not performed in BUDS after the replacement. So, you may just be dealing with a workmanship/work practice issue with the dealer i.e. they forgot. It's a question you could ask and make your expectations clear. They sure didn't road test it much since you had problems on the way home. Or a bad replacement part. Might be too soon to think lemons yet. Hang in there.

Bought my 2015 RTS in July. With only a few hundred miles on it, it stranded me 60 miles from home with the gear position sensor failure. Got a lift to my dealer and handed him the key. My Spyder was on his VIN list. He picked up the bike and it was ready for me by noon the next day. I'm nearing 6000 miles now with zero issues. Rain, pulling a trailer, 2 up. I have 2 Harley's and a BMW that are getting quite dusty. I'm not planning on giving up on my Spyder because of 1 issue. I did talk to my dealer about not giving me a heads up so I wouldn't get stranded. He wanted to wait until he had the replacement sensor. I enjoy the Spyder more each day.

Sorry to hear man. Hope you can get it up and running so we can meet up sometime. Beyond frustrating I'm sure. I have a new dash cluster ordered for mine and might be have a suspension compressor cycling issue:...:yikes:
