• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Hi everyone Dave here.......
The trouble with the Ryker is ....... I have NOT laid eyes on one. they are NOT
I say again NOT legal in California because they do not pass CARB and SMOG laws here
bummer I hope they get it sorted out soon, If they don't pass the emissions tests
even if you have one and move here you can not register it at DMV and get License plates.
Bummer
Dave

I assume that anyone with a Ryker licenced in another jurisdiction can ride into California with it tho, can’t they? You need to appeal to someone in a neighboring state to visit you,

People have bought the 600 in California just the 900 that hasn't passed.

I have been told by the dealers here that is true but they do not want to handle only the 600 with out the 900
so they have none on the show room floors, I am in northern CA. so none here maybe in LA or San Diego they
may stock them but not here that I can find.

That is a dilemma for them. Not much good only having a third of the model lineup. Doesn't give people options and so they either wait or go somewhere else. I wonder where they are at in the approval process?

Ahhh...California

Gonna check with the dealers around me as I see them as I drive by but cannot tell the 600 from the 900 from the road....:bbq:

The 900 will Not pass Calif. smog. -- YET. They are working on it.

My big concern is ... they will hang so much crap on it to make it smog legal it will be under powered and you may as
well get the 600 version. they do that with cars and have done that for years.
