Does anyone know the top speed of the Ryker 600cc and 900cc?

There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

The salesman at our local dealer in Henderson NV told me he had a 900 up to 104 mph. It was at the dealer meeting in Denver.

@Chupaca: You're right, on highways the speed limit is 62 mph. On "Autobahnen" (Interstates) it's unlimited.

In our area the speed limits can be as high as 80 mph.

We really need videos of the 600 so we can judge the difference between the 600 and 900- Nothing like a good video - The video SnoCat did of the 900 on the Pacific coast shows the burn-out power of the 900! BRP should be paying him to do more videos because that video sold me GOOD!nojoke

YUP! The top speed one reaches will be subject to many, many variables.
That has never been a problem for me. I believe I pushed my 2008 RS SM5 to a little over 90 once. There was more to go...but I did not need to wake the radar guys.
I am happy with posted limits plus five these days. That's the usual speed most drive anyway. More than that is done by a lot of others. The stretch of road South of Fairbanks has 75 posted. Have not seen higher elsewhere here in AK. :thumbup:

I would like to know the Ryker 600 and 900 top speeds as well. Typically I'm running the RS in the 60-90 range so I need to know if I can run those speeds consistently with the Ryker.
Cross country trip this year. Trailered the bikes to CO. Set the cruise at 85-90 on the interstate with the truck. Once riding we were running anywhere from 80-105 most of the time on the bikes. Just huge wide open spaces, no one around and roads that go forever. It was awesome. Point being not all of us enjoy cruising around at 55. The bikes are quick enough to easily pass cars going 50-60 on the road which means average traffic on the bike isn't a concern......just pass them. Half the fun of riding the bikes is the ability to cruise at higher speeds.

As time goes on and people start to own them I'm sure we will get more videos and times for each to 60 . This will become a busy section when they are :yes:released!

It dealer said he ordered a good mix of different models and they should ship I November. I want to ride a 600 before I decide.

They are shipping pretty quick- My dealer in CT only expected 2 showroom models in Dec BUT today he looked it up in front of me and he is getting 4 Rally -4 900cc- and 2 600cc models in Dec and can start selling immediately! I think I will wait for the March shipment-Why pay for Insurance and Property tax on something that's going to sit in a Snow covered garage for 3 Months???
