There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. Ryker Mirror positioning

Hey Everyone!

I picked up my Ryker 900 yesterday, and have really loved riding it. I cruised through my neighborhood, on some main roads, and took it on the freeway (got it up to 90 MPH in Eco mode without trying too hard).

My question for everyone is where have you been pointing your mirrors? I've found some good tips for mirrors mounted closer to the center, but since the stock mirrors are on the end of the handle bar, it's going to be different. Right now I've got the right mirror pointing mostly behind me with some visibility for the right lane. The left mirror is pointed more outward. I think I've got the up/down level set correctly. Let me know what you do, and what you find works best. Thanks!

I was surprised how good the Ryker bar end mirrors were. As far as an answer to your question I position the mirrors to see beside and behind the bike on both sides; far enough out that my elbows are usually not in the picture. I try to position the mirrors in such a way that if another vehicle is approaching on my quarter I can start to see the approaching vehicle in my peripheral vision (right or left) just as it is leaving the mirror image. I can still see vehicles behind be some distance back but only the medial side of tailgaters. It will feel odd at first like, your mirrors are pointed toward the bar ditch, but works very well for me.

You still need to do a proper head check to change lanes (when you have the time) but this mirror position lets me know at a glance if there is an escape spot (right or left) when the situation in front of me degrades quickly.

Hi all ref mirror position just sit on bike , feet on pegs , adjust mirrors so that you can see full view of traffic on near / off side when in comfortable seating position

I have been thinking bout using the Ryker mirrors and adding the Lamonster mirrors also. I was considering using the Ryker mirrors set at my blind spot at 4 o'clock and 8 o'clock position From there I would use the Lamonster mirrors for behind out to the 4 to 8 o'clock position. The Ryker mirrors are limited in there sweep out to the side and might have to reverse the use of the mirrors.

I did the exact thing this past weekend. Got my LaMonster mirrors on and considered taking the originals off. Then I tried swiveling them down low, but in the end I had the originals back up on the top side of the handlebars with the LaMonsters also up top. With the two sets of mirrors close to each other above my grips I can now get multiple views with one glance.

I purchased the Lamonster mirrors but having a hard time finding a place to install them on the stock Ryker Rally handlebar. i can't seem to find a flat area to secure the mounts. Did anyone have to use a shim or spacer to to get the mounts tightened?

I mounted my Lamonster Mirrors on my handle bar directly to the hand guard mount. I took the top hole of the mirror bracket and ovaled it out a bit and it matched up perfectly. They look like they are original equipment for the Ryker.

Hi, could you post a pic? I am getting these delivered today and didn’t realize they weren’t compatible with the Rally handguards.

these are the best I have for now. If you want more provide me your email address and I will email them to you
